During your stay at our apartments, there are several things that you can do to make your stay even more fun. Here you will find which activities you can engage with and many places you can visit. If you need any help with organizing those, we are at your disposal.

PODSTRANA

Before you take a day trip to the islands, do some sightseeing of Split and its surroundings or seek an adventure, meet our Mediterranean town and everything it can offer. Podstrana is located in Split-Dalmatia County, distanced 8 km from Split and 10 km from town Omiš. Its' 6 km longitudinal coastline offers great beaches and sea activities, while the picturesque hill Perun, guarding it on the north, offers some nature ventures.

Due to its geographical features Podstrana offers various recreation opportunities: hiking trails, trails for biking, and of course an experience of Old Podstrana - cradle of contemporary Podstrana. If you wish to learn about the cultural heritage of Podstrana you can look into it here. On a seaside you will find multiple sports: windsurfing, water skiing, water skating, sailing and sport catamarans. Those also have an opportunity for organized lectures in Croatian, English, German, French, Italian and Flemish language. And after engaging in strenuous outdoor activities, you can enjoy a good quality cuisine that Podstrana offers in many local taverns, restaurants, pizzerias and cafes!

SPLIT

Split is located 8 km from Podstrana. It plays an important cultural, historical and university role for Croatia, but is also one of the most significant tourist destinations in this area.

The center of the city is Diocletian's Palace, one of the best preserved Roman monuments. It was built by the Roman Emperor Diocletian in the 4th century and it is the cradle of today's city. It is also the lifeblood, it is full of cafes, restaurants, shops, museums, galleries...But whats makes it so secial is probabyl the fact that people live in it, dry their clothes from the windows and balconies... Sometimes just a walk in those small valies within the Palace can provide a special feeling. There is also the Riva, which is the center of events throughout the year, Cellars of the Palace and squares Pijaca and Voćni Trg. As a tourist in the city of Split do not miss a monument Grgur Ninski in front of golden gates of the palace, an old cemetery Sustipan on the west coast, take a swimm and play some picigin on the main beach Bacvice towards east from the center, as get some recreation or take a walk under the pine trees beautiful forest Marjan. 50 from our apartments is a bus stop for regular bus line Omiš-Split. Ride to Split center lasts about 30 minutes, costs €2 and drives every half an hour.

OMIŠ

Omiš is a small town located 10 km south of Podstrana, situated at the mouth of the Cetina River and the foot of Omiška Dinara. Besides the interesting position, it is famous for its colorful market in the city center, and plentyl of small cafes, bistros, restaurants, boutiques and shops. Since the history of Omiš is long and interesting, you can witnes many cultural and historical attractions, such as the fortress Fortica, the fortress Mirabela, many churches, monuments and museums. In addition to historical sites, Omiš offers many opportunities for those who seek an active vacation: rafting, hiking, rock climbing, zipline, fishing and diving. BOL

Bol is a town on the south side of the island of Brac, with one of the world's most beautiful beaches Zlatni rat. This beautiful pebbly beach is almost a thousand meters long, and its phenomenon is that it changes shape and position in accordance with wind direction. Besides that you can enjoy all day sun and clear blue sea, there are many activities that you can engage in: surfing, parasailing, scuba diving, tube and more. You can also rent a boat to explore bays, rent a bike and do some quality island cycling, simply enjoy a qualitaty offer of cafes and restaurants in the town center.,

Bol can be reached by highspeed ferry line Split - Bol, or you can relax and take an organized daily visit to the island and Bol provided by our parters.

HVAR

Hvar is a town of southern side of island of Hvar, the island that is considered among ten most beautiful islands in the world. It is with certainty one of the most popular destination of Mediterranean, because of its' natural beauty, numerous bays, rich night life and good cuisine. Hvar also has a rich historical heritage, with many attractions such as fortress Fortica (Španjola), the Franciscan Monastery, and Croatian Theatre. A few hundred meters south of Hvar are Pakleni islands, where you can explore amazing bays and beaches.

Hvar can be reached by ferry line Split - Hvar, Split-Jelsa, or you can relax and take an organized daily visit to the island provided by our parters.

Besides the above mentioned places, you can also visit following places: ISLAND VIS, ISLAND ŠOLTA, National Park KRKA, TROGIR, SINJ, FORTRESS OFKLIS, and if you are traveling by car on the way to us you can thake a pause and stop at National Park PLITVIČKA JEZERA - one of the most beautiful places in this part of Europe.
